An AG Coaching Credential
demonstrates that you have met established standards for coach education,
experience, mentor coaching, ethical practice, performance evaluation,
and coaching knowledge.
AG Coaching offers five credential levels designed to support coaches
as they grow in skill and experience. Our credentialing standards are
aligned with International Coaching Federation (ICF)
core competencies and applicable minimum skill requirements.

What Does It Take to Earn an AG Coaching Credential?
The credentialing process includes six core components.

Education
Obtain coach-specific, ICF-approved coach education.

A training log or certificates demonstrating training for non-ICF
credential holders will be required at application. Information should
include trainer or organization, dates of training, hours, trainer
contact information, and training theme or program.

Experience
Coaching experience hours must be logged and accumulated after
coach training has begun. Applicants must attest to their accumulated
coaching experience hours during the application process.

Mentor Coaching
Receive mentor coaching from an ICF-approved mentor coach
to strengthen your coaching skills. Applicants submit the mentor
coach's name, contact information, and group and/or individual
mentor-coaching hours.

Performance Evaluation
Pass a performance evaluation from an AG Coaching assessor.
Evaluations follow ICF guidelines, including alignment with the
minimum skill requirements associated with the applicable level.

Knowledge Assessment
Pass the required written assessment demonstrating your understanding
of the ICF definition of coaching and your ability to apply coaching
competencies.

Application Fee
Pay the appropriate application fee for the credential level
for which you are applying. The fee is payable at the time of application.
Already Hold an ICF Credential?
If you are an ICF credential holder, you have the opportunity to
advance through the assessment process to receive the AG Coaching
credential that corresponds to your ICF credential level.
